We are looking forward to hosting you. Here are some basic details of the event (subject to change). We will send more info as we get closer.
Schedule of Events
April 29th
3:30 PM- Arrive no later than 3:30 PM – if your team hasn’t paid yet, please have your entry fee ready to be paid
4PM - Group play will begin. Half of the teams will play golf. The other half of teams will play all other events. (Teams that are late will forfeit matches).
We will do our best to stay on schedule and be finished up by 8pm.
April 30th
11 AM – Arrive
11:30PM – Group play will begin. The teams that played golf on Saturday will play all other games. The teams that didn’t play golf will do so on Sunday.
Saturday golf teams – please BRING YOUR CLUBS on Sunday as the teams that make the finals will play a final round after group play on Sunday
4:00PM – Championship Golf round begins (ONE WINNER FROM EACH GROUP)
Format
Teams will be placed in Groups of 4 and compete in five total events.
Points will be awarded for each win. The team with the most points in their respective group after all events will play in the Championship golf round on Sunday. The total amount in the prize pool will be determined by the number of teams, and the top 3-5 teams (depending on total number of entries) will earn a cash prize. The top three teams will also be on the podium and earn the coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze medals of the XGolf Olympics!
Events
Details for each event are below. In all non-golf events, flip a coin (or rock, paper, scissors) to determine which team plays first. There is only one singles event, ping pong, but each player must play at least one game.
Golf
Please bring your own clubs or clubs for your team.
2 player – Alternate shot match play – if tied, sudden death playoff
2 rounds at Lakewood in Japan – We will randomly draw the first-round matchups. Round 2 for each group is winners play each other and losers play each other
No handicaps
All Male teams – Blue Tees, Male/Female Teams – White Tees, All Female Teams – Red Tees

6 points to first place
4 points to second place
2 points to third place
0 points to fourth place
Foosball (Doubles Event)
Three games per team, you will play each team in your group once
Each game is played to 11 – first team to 11 wins, must win by two points
Skunk rule in effect – if a team is winning 7-0, they win that match
1 team point per win
Ping Pong (Singles Event, each player must play at least one ping pong game)
Three games per team, you will play each team in your group once
Each game is played to 21 – Must win by two points
Alternate the serve every five points
Skunk rule in effect – if a player is winning 11-0, they win that match
1 team point per win
Mini Golf (Doubles Event)
Each team will play one 18 HOLE ROUND against the other three teams in their group – total of three rounds.
One person plays the hole at a time.
The lowest combined team score to par wins the match.
If there is a tie after 18 holes. Playoff holes are 7, 8 and 9 accumulative score. If there is still a tie, start a sudden death playoff on hole 1 and keep going until a winner is decided.

Shuffle Board (doubles event)
Each team will play one game against the other three teams in their group – total of three games.
Play to 15 – first team to 15 wins, must win by two points
One player from each team on each side throwing against their opponent.
Players alternate throws (four pucks each). Pucks must cross the halfway line or be removed from the board. A puck touching the line is worth the greater of the two points.
NOT CANCELLATION SCORING – Every puck remaining on the board after the four throws count as points.
The team to score the most points in the previous round throws first, then alternate throws after that.
